The arrival checklist

What we handle

02
Residence permit

Applied for after arrival for the length of your programme; renewals handled each year.

03
Housing

A room in a student residence or a shared flat, inspected before you commit. Contract reviewed in your language.

04
Insurance, bank, SIM

Health insurance, a Turkish bank account and a local SIM card in your first week.

05
Airport pickup

A member of our team meets you at the airport and takes you to your accommodation.

06
First-month support

University registration, student card, transport pass and a city orientation with other Procarius students.

Can I work while I study?

Bachelor students may work part-time after their first year with a work permit (Law 6735, Art. 19). We explain the current rules in your consultation and help with the permit when the time comes.

Why Bodrum

Our office is in Bodrum on the Aegean coast: a safe, international town with a university campus, an airport with direct flights, and a large German-speaking community. Students at universities in İstanbul, Ankara and İzmir get the same support through our partners there.
